Evaluation DRN-inquiry
Thank you for your participation. 30 members took part in the DRN-inquiry, these are more than half of the people who are known to be active (about 50). With 30 persons there was a maximum point range reachable of 60 for each question. The questions from 1 to 15 are listed below.
For the three favourite ones a strategy will be suggested and published within the next month.

interaction design
1. When I open my personal account-site, I would like to see which of the other users have the same research topic, place of work, interests, etc.
2. A function to create groups of interest
3. The opportunity to have “Chat Discussions” to make communication easier and quicker
4. The possibility to see which members visited my personal account
5. Expiry date of content according to actuality, which I can set up by myself once published
6.
a = Number of “thoughts” (own contributions)
b = Number of comments
c = number of helpful comments
7. I wish to see the number of visitors (page views) of "thoughts"

interface design
8. A toolbar (like in blogs) to layout text and photos, of “thoughts” as well as “comments”
9. A news-window, as a sort of calendar, on the start page with new publications and announcements relevant to design events
10. The possibility to design my personal account, to achieve a personal note, for instance with personal photo (90px x 90px)
11. When logged into the start page, everything changes into my personal settings, for instance: Preferred themes of discussion appear firstly
12. The possibility to see all “thoughts” with an overview (index of contents, or sitemap)
13. A world map to see where other members are located with filters like: location, interests, job, themes of research, etc.
14. A Personal-relationship graph of connections; first degree (friends), second degree (friend of friends). Direct relationships are chosen by oneself, indirect relationships are friend’s of the friends. Persons can be invited on their personal account side.
15. Symbol / pictogram’s for categories and functions to improve orientation
16. The last optional question was answered by two persons only, so it isn’t representative.
But in future, I think it is a good idea, to share interesting sites for research
