Having the really helpful questions in mind we especially discussed the goal of our question in this
paper. For us, the role of a designer in interdisciplinary projects is being the communicator as
a) the one who visualises and
b) the humans advocate
c) the out-of-the-box-thinker
So our question now is:
How can we capture the value designers add to the development process?
– Frameset: Starting from an organisational plattform
– Developing a communication plattform
– Combining views for future views
– Visualisation and User Centred Development
– Design Processes
– Transformation of the organisational plattform

designer's value
I would add the 'ability to integrate dynamic stakeholder demands in a series of feasible solutions', which after all the fun out-of-box stuff is the ultimate goal of every development process :)
it is about integration - a bit more than communication and combining I guess... it is full of conprimise and negotiations though...
well... just thinking aloud here... would like to read your paper once the publication is out... LoL
