It is now ten years since Anthony Dunne published the "Hertzian Tales". We might count it as the official birthday of Critical Design. To celebrate the world usability day (wasnt it just one blink away in November?) the international network for user experience (UXalliance) published a study on parking meters.

The International Parking Meters Study will explore interface and interaction design of parking meters around the world and examine different parking meter interfaces and the common problem of designing an interface to accommodate a broad range of users trying to achieve multiple tasks. [more...]
