The University of Hertfordshire (UK) has a fully-funded PhD studentship available in the Faculty for the Creative and Cultural Industries. The student will be supervised by Prof Michael Biggs, who is well known for his work on so-called practice-based research (http://sitem.herts.ac.uk/artdes_research/tvad/biggs1.html ). S/he will be joining an experienced team of co-researchers who will work together on "non-traditional knowledge and communication in research in the creative and performing arts" (http://sitem.herts.ac.uk/artdes_research/tvad/ntkc.html ).

We are seeking a candidate to take on the role of programme leader for our MA Interaction Design
programme. The position is initially for one-year starting in September 2008 and is preferably
full-time.

The 8th International Conference of the European Academy of Design will take place at The Robert Gordon's University in Aberdeen, Scotland from 31st March to 3rd April 2009. The conference theme is Design Connextiy.
